Delete Activities
Learn how to temporarily remove activities from your reports in Chronoid.
Before You Delete
- Review the activity's title, timestamps, and path so you delete the correct entry.
- Deletion works on one item at a time from the context menu.
- Prefer the Ignore List if you want Chronoid to stop tracking the app or site altogether.
Typical Use Cases
- Clean up a spike in totals caused by a brief or accidental app launch.
- Remove test data created while configuring Chronoid.
- Zero out duplicate entries created when windows switch rapidly.
Steps
- Right-click the activity in either the Unassigned or All Activities list.
- Choose Delete from the context menu.
- Review the confirmation dialog and select Delete to proceed.

What Happens After Deletion
- The entry disappears from Unassigned / All Activities, and Chronoid recalculates your stats so the deleted data no longer counts toward totals or trends.
- Chronoid leaves the underlying app data untouched. If you use the same app or website again, a fresh activity is created automatically.
💡 Tip: Want a permanent block instead of a one-time cleanup? Add the app or site to your Ignore List so Chronoid never tracks it again.
Undo or Restore
- Changed your mind? Use Edit → Undo (⌘Z) immediately after confirming to restore the deleted entry.
